If we don’t keep those blacks on the plantation, we’re finished.

If you play the politics of colour, a hopelessly biased media has only one slant on it, and that is supposed to be the only approved one as well. If you aren’t white, you have to vote left-wing to escape your victimhood, otherwise you’re Uncle Tomming, and if you’re white and haven’t been guilt tripped into going in that same direction, it’s because you’re some sort of covert racist neo-Nazi. Pretty much, that’s been the media pressure on both black and white people in the last several decades, when the left has been in the ascendant and their auxiliaries in the MSM have been shaping the only desirable self images for the young, the impressionable and blacks in America.

The real tragedy over those two decades was that if you were black, nothing actually changed over those two decades. In essence, people whose ass wasn’t white voted for those self-evidently desirable sentiments, but fuck all was ever delivered. They were turkeys voting for Christmas. The white liberals never realised that the hard but necessary measures to wean a black underclass off the decades long opiate of welfare breadcrumbs delivered by a cynically benevolent state was never going to happen, because keeping them exactly where they were on the breadline would ensure their vote in perpetuity.

Not only didn’t things stay the same, they actually went progressively backwards, even under an outrageously adored black president whose ego knew no bounds, but was pretty much useless for the brothas, the sistas, and America in general, and who always had one on his bank account while the other one was firmly fixed on his narcissist towering legacy. Him and his “forever first lady” were the pinnacle of the house nigga cult of personality, and the deep state got everything it wanted out of using them before sucking them dry and then spitting them out contemptuously to do their multi million dollar book deals and the extremely well paid ego massages of the speaking circuit.

If you were black, nothing much had changed except for a deliberately stoked up vicious internecine race war that threatened to rip the heart out of America, and most bizarrely, it was being fought by white liberals on anybody white who raised a doubt about the wonderful non-direction things were going in, while apart from a few extremist organisations like BLM, most blacks looked on and scratched their head in bewilderment. What the fuck has any of this got to do with me? How does it help me?

Under Obama’s watch, black unemployment soared, black poverty soared, black on black murder hit 90% and ordinary black parents tried to shield their children from abysmal black role models presented by the Hollywood media who were either gangstas, drug dealers or just plain victims of white supremacy, giving their children an oh so easy excuse for failure for the rest of their lives. That’s a tough row to hoe I wouldn’t want as a parent, and my heart went out to them.

There’s one of those smart sayings that the definition of insanity is doing exactly the same thing over and over, and hoping for a different outcome each time, but every election, that’s been the tragedy of the American negro for the last seventy years or more, and I do mean the tragedy. They’ve done nothing but vote for the party whose voting track record has always been to keep them on the plantation, and be damn grateful to the Massa for doing so.

Ask any left-winger if Abraham Lincoln was a republican or democrat, and every time they’ll answer a democrat, outraged at the stupidity of the question. Of course, the reverse is true. At one time in America, there was a Democratic Republican party that split in two. The issue that caused the schism was slavery, with the Democrats for it and the Republicans against it. Lincoln went with the Republicans, although even within his own party, he had to be carefully politic about his abolitionist sympathies.

That parting of the ways has rolled down the years for nearly two centuries, but it would be a mistake to believe it was purely over slavery. The deeper issue was whether you inclined to the America of John Adams who wanted a strong central government which took care of all your needs, or the one of Thomas Jefferson that government should be minimal and interfere with your life as little as possible, and just let you get on with it. Trump is by instinct very much in the Jefferson mould.

The Democrat party has always been the party of slavery, while the Republican party has remained true to its founding principles and resolutely fought it. If you care to look up the Congressional numbers, every time emancipation of race and slavery came up, the Democrats voted against it and the Republicans voted for it. Every time; the freeing of slaves, allowing blacks a vote and right up to the 60s where the civil rights legislation was passed by a the Democratic administration of LBJ only because every Republican in Congress voted for it and a few Democrats, unlike all the rest, decided not to vote against it.

The ever articulate black vblogger Candace Owens said words to the effect, I supported the Dems until I learned to think with my head rather than the colour of my skin. For different reasons, she’s not the first one in having gone on that political journey which the ever quotable Winston Churchill appears to have gone on himself and expressed with a bitter-sweet but nostalgic saying – If you’re young and are not left-wing, you don’t have a heart. If you’re older and are not right-wing, you don’t have a head.

There’s a wave building in the new generation of the black community which increasingly rejects the permanent state of victimhood it’s traditionally been presented with. It’s being led by spokesmen like Owen, Kanye West, Diamond and Silk, Brandon Tatum, Terrence Williams and others. The establishment blacks who’re already on the gravy train just want it to pull out of the station before any other blacks can jump on it – there’s only so many seats on it allocated to tokenism, and there’s always the fear of the black underclass becoming really emancipated, but therein is the problem.

Trump has changed the political environment irreversibly. It’ll never go back to as it was before he stepped on the stage.

The new black awareness arises out of some stark realisations that have been a long time coming. It rejects their habitual acceptance of oppression by both the house niggas and the supposed liberals, neither of whom have their best intentions in mind – just their vote. When that vote was safely in place, it was bouncing back to Congress for another four years with a big monied ear-to-ear grin plastered right across their face that said done it again. Once there, all they had to do was make a few comforting noises and throw a few breadcrumbs as they all cashed in big time on their career in Swampland.

I truly admire the courage of this new and more positive leadership of black America, but genuinely fear for them as I did for those marchers on Birmingham Alabama in the bad old days, especially as I know the viciousness of the forces that are going to come after them, both politically and personally. That fight they’re now engaged in will make the civil rights struggle look like a cakewalk. As the bible says, every man’s hand will be against you. The black establishment, the news media, the entertainment industry and perhaps most painfully of all, your own family and friends. In the beginning, which is where you are now, it will be a road less well-travelled and a very lonely one.

Just as America was ready for someone like Trump whose essential message was we don’t have to keep doing the same useless things over and over and keep on going nowhere, things can change, this emerging generation of black America is sending out exactly that same message, things can change, and you do have some things on your side in your struggle.

The big one is that Trump has changed the political environment. It’ll never go back to as it was before he stepped on the stage, and I see exactly the same thing with black voters leaving the DNC plantation – there’s no going back. Politics, the media and Hollywood are going to have to adapt to that new America. All of 2017, they refused to adapt, and the results have been financially disastrous for them, and continue to be so.

I think you’ll also find their fervently held politics will prove to be quite malleable in the face of a continual financial blood-letting for offering a product whose flavour people by now actively dislike, and it’s for that reason the Dems will lose gradually their propaganda arm. After all, we’re mostly talking about the harlots of integrity; posturing macho men who all know their hat and glove sizes, if you get my meaning. Principles are good, but career and money trumps them every time.

There is no hope for the current geriatric leadership of the Democrat party; they neither get it, nor can they change, and worst of all, they won’t move aside for the younger Democrat congressmen who do actually get it. Progress for the party back to some sort of reality will only begin with the funerals of most of their elder statesmen, a term I once heard defined as someone who’d become politically irrelevant decades ago.

The party will eventually pull out of the nosedive it’s currently in, but by that time it’ll have two difficult problems to crack. Firstly, Trump’s management of the economy has turned it around spectacularly, and black unemployment is lower than it’s ever been since the statistics were first recorded. The message to the average black working person over a number of years will have been conservatism delivered for us in a few years in a way the left -wing didn’t for decades.

The second problem will be much harder. They’ll have to find a new sales pitch to a black electorate who’ll not only have escaped the plantation, but by then will have no time for the old victimhood bollocks and the politics of identity that not only failed them so badly, but also plunged them into a race war without even bothering to ask their consent.

By that stage, Trumps re-engineering of America, which believe you me was always his true intent, will be complete and for a change, blacks will be in there and finally chasing the American dream just as hard as everyone else, and not only for themselves but their children. Promising them bright baubles tomorrow, which they’ll already have earned for themselves today, just won’t work and what’s worse, they’ll perceive you as a threat to the newly won prosperity they’ll have worked so hard to achieve.

If you agree with that admittedly long-range assessment of where America and the position of blacks in it will be in a decade or so, there’s only one strategy left for the Dems, and that’s to finally start taking to and treating blacks in America as Americans, not as helpless victims who have to be looked after, but just Americans.

    Pointman,

The biggest push-back against black America escaping the plantation is going to be the Victim Industry.

In the West, a mega-billion-dollar Government-funded industry has grown up around catering-to or compensating-for all manner of minorities … from indigenous native peoples, to ethnic and racial variants, the religious and the gender-confused.

For every minority that surfaces, gasping for air, from the quagmire of welfare or taxpayer-grant dependence, the System will devise another one to take its place. It’s their voter base, their raison d’être; it’s spawned an entire faculty of university education … the ‘humanities’, gender studies … the list is as long as a fevered imagination can make it.

Kanye West was right … “Slavery is a choice”.

But slavery doesn’t start and end with the world of “Tote dat barge! Lif’ dat bale!”

Slavery to gangs, to drugs, to booze, to wilful ignorance and scorn of education, and ultimately to the abortion industry, where over 40% of black babies never survive to see the light of day. But that’s another story.

For all of us … black, white or brindle … the ultimate slavery is Debt. And whether personal or national debt, we consign our children to a lifetime of servitude unless we wise up and educate them.

Today we credit the 17th/18th century Enlightenment with advancing Europeans beyond the days of serfdom and ignorance. Perhaps today we are seeing the Awakening of black America into a new age of self-determination and … respect … for self and for others.

Let’s face it – we could all do with a degree of Awakening. We’ve been asleep at the wheel for far too long.

Just a minor correction. The Republicans were never part of the democrat party. The Republican party rose out of the Abolition movement and the ashes of the Whig Party in the 1850s. The democrats were once known as the Democrat-Republican party, but shortened the name on their own long before the Republicans came around.

But the rest is dead on accurate. And you are also correct that most liberals today have no clue of the party of slavery – then or now. It is obvious from the reaction to Kanye West standing up and wanting to think for himself. And the party leadership of the democrats telling him to shut up and sit down. But that is how they have always taken the black vote – and more recently, other minority votes.

The media being the “clean up” crew for the left tries to hide the naked racism, misogyny and bigotry of the left. And they did a good job of it when they had a monopoly. But that monopoly is gone. I think Ronan Farrow (no conservative there!) exemplifies it. His stories got published, but not by the normal MSM. Why? Because they demonstrated the ugly truth about the democrat party (one of the most conservative states – Wyoming – is also the first state to give women the right to vote).

Knowledgeable blacks have always been conservative (see Thomas Sowell and Dr. Walter E. Williams) as they understood early that the only way for slavery to survive is if it is maintained through force and that means with the blessing and support of the State. And they know their history.

But the democrats made a fatal mistake. They elected Obama. And when the Republicans rolled over and refused to oppose him in any way, even when the Supreme Court was voting his actions down 9-0, the democrats thought they had a dynasty, Instead, most Americans just got tired of the “good ole boy” network and tried to get an anti-establishment candidate in there. On both sides. (Had Hillary not stacked the deck, she would have lost again to Bernie).

So Obama begat Trump. But beyond that, the fact that Obama ran roughshod over the law means that the democrats were screwing their old constituency for what they saw as the new wave. A wave of illegals, homosexuals, and confused genderists. The losers? Blacks (as you so accurately pointed out) and blue collar workers.

It will not happen over night, and indeed, there will be many blacks who never wise up (they do love their golden chains of slavery), but unless the democrats figure out they cannot win without at least a solid core of non moonbats, they will whither and die. Indeed their strategy requires illegals to not only be welcomed, but allowed to vote (how California managed to give Hillary such a large margin). But those illegals are displacing labor unions and blacks in the job market. And some are starting to realize it. And if they are not displacing them, they are depressing the wages (a buyers market).

Weinstein and Scneiderman are not exceptions for the democrats, they are actually normal democrats. And the media cannot hide that any longer Except to the willfully ignorant. And that will be the only democrat voters outside of the media and Higher education.

To me Black is an interpretative indeterminate concept clearly not linked to skin color because few people are actually black. All shades of brown for sure. But real Black skin colored people you’ll be hard put to find (outside of small parts of Africa) as a significant part of the general world population.
As such the whole discourse is moot and as of as much value as the gender fluidity discourse. Victim-hood as an excuse for the perceived failures in your life

Trump is having spectacular success dealing with Obama’s toxic visible legacy as evidenced by employment statistics, the ISIS beat down, North Korea and on and on.

In sharp contrast Obama’s putrid invisible legacy, namely institutional corruption lives on at the IRS, the Veteran’s Administration, the intelligence agencies, the State Department, the FBI, the Department of Justice and many more. Trump’s lack of success in cleansing these departments can be traced to some poor staff picks such as Jeff Sessions and Rex Tillerson.

Looking on the bright side, Scott Pruitt is cleaning up the EPA! Is it possible that Pompeo will cleanse the State Department?

And in South Africa, the ruling (note – not GOVERNING) African National Congress has managed to generally set the education standards even lower than the Nationalists’ apartheid Black Education, so that lower-class black parents are better educated than their children. Add to that the comment from EX-President Zuma, disdaining “cleva blacks”, and one can see that the elite have an implied (or maybe direct) idea that keeping “the rabble” ill-educated means that the ANC get the votes. It’s also noticeable that the ANC promise lots, but fail to deliver, thus prompting “service delivery riots”. It’s also noticeable that there are more riots AFTER elections.

    • What happened is South Africa has many parallels in the USA. Does that sound absurd to you? Consider this:

The Natives Land Act of 1913 halted the rapid economic progress of colored people that had occurred in the previous 50 years. Together with subsequent legislation it created a pool of cheap labor. Over time wages declined for colored people until 1994 when the whole rotten system was ended.

Here in the USA we have gradually weakened our border security which has created a pool of cheap labor such that real wages for the lowest quartile of our population have been stagnant for 30 years. Blacks and Hispanics have suffered most.

Bad laws are enacted by bad men (aka “Evil Bastards”). Here in the USA the bad men are lobbyists on “K” street paid for by folks like the Business Round Table, the Koch Brothers, and many more. Under Donald Trump wages and opportunities are rising at last for our poorest citizens simply because he is implementing the policies that got him elected

The GOP can win BIGLY (thank you Dilbert) in the mid-term elections by getting rid of Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and withdrawing support for RINOs running for re-election. It should not be too hard to replace them with people who can unequivocally support the Trump agenda.

    Charles Krauthammer finally woke up?

This is from Charles Krauthammer who did not go for Trump, now read what he thinks of him now.

To my friends “of a different persuasion” I’m not trying to sell anything or anyone but I do feel this is an interesting take on our
very controversial president who I truly believe is not Republican or Democrat.

A different take on Donald Trump: (a non-political agenda)

Trump Is Not A Liberal or Conservative, He’s a “Pragmatist.” (Definition: A pragmatist is someone who is practical and focused on reaching a goal. A pragmatist usually has a straightforward, matter-of-fact approach and doesn’t let emotion distract him or her.)

“We recently enjoyed a belated holiday dinner with friends at the home of other friends. The dinner conversation varied from discussions about antique glass and china to theology and politics.

At one point, reference was made to Donald Trump being a conservative, to which I responded that Trump is not a conservative.

I said that I neither view nor do I believe Trump views himself as a conservative. I stated it was my opinion that Trump is a pragmatist.

He sees a problem and understands it must be fixed. He doesn’t see the problem as liberal or conservative, he sees it only as a problem. That is a quality that should be admired and applauded, not condemned. But I get ahead of myself.

Viewing problems from a Liberal perspective has resulted in the creation of more problems, more entitlement programs, more victims, more government, more political correctness, and more attacks on the working class in all economic strata.

Viewing things according to the so-called Republican conservative perspective has brought continued spending and globalism to the detriment of American interests and well being, denial of what the real problems are, weak, ineffective, milquetoast, leadership that amounts to Barney Fife Deputy Sheriff, appeasement oriented and afraid of its own shadow. In brief, it has brought liberal ideology with a pachyderm as a mascot juxtaposed to the ass of the Democrat Party.

Immigration isn’t a Republican problem, it isn’t a Liberal problem, it is a problem that threatens the very fabric and infrastructure of America. It demands a pragmatic approach not an approach that is intended to appease one group or another.

The impending collapse of the economy wasn’t a Liberal or Conservative problem, it is an American problem.

That said, until it is viewed as a problem that demands a common sense approach to resolution, it will never be fixed because the Democrats and Republicans know only one way to fix things and the longevity of their impracticality has proven to have no lasting effect.

Successful businessmen like Donald Trump find ways to make things work, they do not promise to accommodate.

Trump uniquely understands that China’s manipulation of currency is not a Republican problem or a Democrat problem. It is a problem that threatens our financial stability and he understands the proper balance needed to fix it. Here again, successful businessmen, like Trump, who have weathered the changing tides of economic reality understand what is necessary to make business work, and they, unlike both sides of the political aisle, know that if something doesn’t work, you don’t continue trying to make it work hoping that at some point it will.

As a pragmatist, Donald Trump hasn’t made wild pie-in-the-sky promises of a cell phone in every pocket, free college tuition, and a $15 hour minimum wage for working the drive-through at Carl’s Hamburgers.

I argue that America needs pragmatists because pragmatists see a problem and find ways to fix them. They do not see a problem and compound it by creating more problems.

You may not like Donald Trump, but I suspect that the reason some people do not like him is because:

    (1) he is antithetical to the “good old boy” method of brokering backroom deals that fatten the coffers of politicians;

    (2) they are unaccustomed to hearing a president speak who is unencumbered by the financial shackles of those who he owes vis-a-vis
    donations;

    (3) he is someone who is free of idiomatic political ideology;

    (4) He says what he is thinking, is unapologetic for his outspoken thoughts, speaks very straightforward using everyday language that can be understood by all (and is offensive to some who dislike him anyway) making him a great communicator, for the most part, does what he says he will do and;

    (5) he is someone who understands that it takes more than hollow promises and political correctness to make America great again.

Listening to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders talk about fixing America is like listening to two lunatics trying to “out crazy” one another.

Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Marco Rubio are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the bankers, corporations, and big dollar donors funding their campaigns. Bush can deny it, but common sense tells anyone willing to face facts is that people don’t give tens of millions without expecting something in return.

We have had Democrats and Republican ideologues and what has it brought us?

Are we better off today or worse off? Has it happened overnight or has it been a steady decline brought on by both parties?

I submit that a pragmatist is just what America needs right now. People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance, but that is common among those who have never accomplished anything in their lives (or politicians who never really solved a problem, because it’s better to still have an “issue(s) to be solved,” so re-elect me to solve it, (which never happens) and those who have always played it safe (again, all politicians) not willing to risk failure, to try and achieve success).

Donald Trump put his total financial empire at risk in running for president and certainly did not need or even want the job; that says it all.

He wants success for the U.S. and her citizens because he loves his country.”
