Words of wisdom from the Goracle of Helpme.

Al’s fallen on hard times. Long gone are the days of the $100,000 appearance fee at speaking engagements. Most of that all went into that Chicago Carbon Exchange thingy which didn’t turn out to be such a smart investment after all. Anyway, you can’t keep a good man down so he’s working on a comeback with the Climate Reality Event scheduled for Sept. 14 2011 but it’s proving to be uphill work. The environmental churnalists, those still in a job, are not showing much enthusiasm and the corporate sponsors are redirecting their lolly towards shows like America’s Got Talent. Don’t they know there’s still a planet to be saved?

I think it’s our duty to help him out by doing a spot of pre-event advertising for him. In order to do so, it seems sensible to establish a central collection of classic Goreisms into which we can all dip and then share with the world at large.

I know, I know; there’s a rich field of material to choose from here but we’ll just have to exercise some discipline and pick out the absolute bestest of his very best quotes. Whatever you’ve got, post it here. What the hell, let’s cast the net a bit wider. If you’ve got a favourite quote by any of the minor imps of the goreanic Satan, post it too. Have fun and let’s know how you use them.
